D. Mark Lowers

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

D. Mark Lowers serves as President and CEO of Lowers Risk Group, a provider of enterprise-wide risk mitigation and loss prevention, employment screening, and data intelligence services through its complementary companies: Lowers & Associates, Lowers Forensics International, Proforma Screening Solutions, and Wholesale Screening Solutions. Mark is also President of Lowers & Associates, a firm specializing in risk mitigation, international risk management, and loss prevention services that provides services to insurance companies, banks, the cash-in-transit industry, and other financial institutions. He has served in this capacity since 2004.

David Lowers

Chief Technology Officer, Lowers Risk Group / Chief Executive Officer, Proforma Screening Solutions

David Lowers brings senior management skills to Proforma Screening Solutions, as well as extensive knowledge in the security and background screening industry. David continues to lead as CTO in the development of industry methodology and practices to include the application of technology designed to improve process and delivery efficiency. David and his management team at Proforma bring exceptional business leadership, unparalleled knowledge of the industry, and continue to lead in innovation.

Matthew Lowers

Founder & President, Wholesale Screening Solutions

Matthew oversees the day to day operations including human capital, vendor management, process management and client services. As a member of the PBSA, he continues to lead and grow the company as a background screening industry innovator. Additionally, Matthew co-founded HeroHomes; a nonprofit foundation established to build houses, jobs, and communities for disabled veterans.

Marc Johnson, CPA

President, Lowers Forensics International

Marc Johnson is President of Lowers Forensics International, a globally-recognized financial forensics firm and Lowers Risk Group company. Under Marc’s leadership, Lowers Forensics International is quickly growing its global presence to serve the needs of insurance companies, attorneys, and organizations. In his role as a forensics accounting professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry, Marc has handled files throughout the United States and internationally, involving the evaluation of damages, insurance claim analysis, forensic accounting, and litigation support.

Joe Scarlato, CFE

President - Emerging Markets and Technology R&D

Joe Scarlato serves as President, International for Lowers Forensics International. Joe led the recent launch of the company’s small claims accounting service through the development of its AI-driven modeling software, Stratis™. Joe heads up the company’s global team and brings specific expertise in the Latin American market. In his role as a forensic accountant, Joe has been evaluating economic and financial damages in litigation and insurance for more than 15 years. He is fully bilingual and has served as an expert witness in Spanish and English.

Natalya Hummer

CFO and Executive VP, Lowers Risk Group

Skilled at technology and process transformation, Natalya Hummer works to ensure that all business functions at Lowers Risk Group are in alignment and in support of the company’s strategic goals. She works with executives from all areas to standardize processes so that data can flow seamlessly between departments and across disparate platforms. This work is critical to the ability of Lowers Risk Group to glean financial insights and establish predictive analytics for better decisions based on timely and reliable financial data and forecasts.

Bruce D. Myers

Chief Revenue Officer, Lowers Risk Group

Bruce D. Myers works closely with the executive team at LRG to communicate our vision and transforms that vision into long-term strategies for pioneering new markets and opportunities. He regularly analyzes productivity and effectiveness, forms strategic product road maps, creates market positioning and competitive advantages, and determines budget trade-offs with a goal of continually improving and developing sustainable sales results within LRG. Bruce gained many years of experience in executive leadership roles in the risk management field, and has extensive knowledge of business processes.

Dan Agee

Chief Operating Officer, Lowers Risk Group

A tenured veteran of the background screening industry, Daniel has worked in various capacities including Global VP Operations/Quality. As COO, Daniel is responsible for enterprise operations including the direct oversight of Account Management, Budget and Strategic Planning, Staffing, Training, and New Product Development. Daniel holds both an MBA and MSM from West Virginia University. Daniel has previously served on the International Compliance Committee of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA).

Joe Labrozzi

Chief Security Officer, Lowers Risk Group

Joe is a senior executive accountable for the development and oversight of policies and programs within the organization. He is responsible for the mitigation and/or reduction of compliance, operational, strategic, financial and reputational security risk strategies relating to the protection of people, intellectual assets, and tangible property. Prior to this position, Joe was the Director of Claims & Research for Lowers & Associates, as well as manager of the research and analysis department.

Jon D. Groussman

Executive Vice President, Consulting Practice, Lowers Risk Group

Jon D. Groussman serves as Executive Vice President, Consulting services for Lowers Risk Group. With over 2 decades of experience, Jon is a recognized authority on corporate security management and leads Lowers Risk Group’s new consulting practice to provide a broad range of crime-related consulting, expert witness, and litigation support services for companies and their security and risk management leaders, and legal counsel.

LaDawn Presgraves

Executive Vice President, TPA Services & Audit, Lowers Risk Group

LaDawn Presgraves brings over 30 years of accounting and financial experience to the Lowers Risk Group team. Her diverse background is a culmination of experience gained within the healthcare, manufacturing/remanufacturing, and building component/supply industries. She possesses a BS in Accounting, MBA and is currently licensed as a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Michael Gaul

Executive Vice President, Marketing, Lowers Risk Group

Michael is a results-oriented marketing executive with over two decades of experience in employment screening, physical security, and business process management. Michael has deep experience in human capital risk management and a passion for educating business leaders and HR professionals on strategies that tangibly protect their interests. Michael serves on the Board of the Secure Cash and Transport Association (SCTA) and is a member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA), and the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

Paul Harbolick

Executive Vice President, Finance, Lowers Risk Group

Paul Harbolick has a broad base of financial management experience. As the Executive Vice President for Finance at LRG he works extensively with the executive management team on business planning, he is also a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Inova Health System (IHS), a chairman of the IHS Investment Advisory Committee, and is Chairman of the IHS Audit Committee.

Rachel Franklin

Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Lowers Risk Group

Rachel has over 24 years of human resources leadership experience in the service, manufacturing, and government contracting industries. During her time with Lowers Risk Group, she has led the recruitment efforts to support 350% company growth in the previous 12 months, and implemented HR structure and process. She has held several HR leadership positions, with companies including General Electric and Marriott.

Vince Pascarella

Executive Vice President & General Counsel, Lowers Risk Group

Vince joined LRG in 2012 as Executive Vice President of Sales and was promoted to General Counsel in 2016. Vince developed his pre-LRG executive management skills in roles as president, vice president and general counsel, vice president of sales, and director of business development and compliance. Vince has been an attorney and executive in the enterprise risk mitigation industry since 1998. He is a licensed attorney, is SHRM certified SHRM-SCP and PBSA certified FCRA Advanced. Vince earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Long Island University.
