A World of Potential, A World of Risk
The Risk Management Society’s premier event, RISKWORLD, took place in San Francisco last month under the theme “A World of Potential.” Welcoming risk managers and insurance professionals from around the globe, the theme resonated, especially as participants continue to grapple with the impact of COVID-19.
Exploring themes that included human capital risks like leadership and inclusion, as well as emerging risks like cybersecurity, RIMS in many ways served as a reset. Attendees were able to explore and understand how the risk community’s work has evolved over the last two years, hearing new ideas from keynote speakers and observing some innovative best practices discussed in breakout sessions. Curated networking events also enabled participants to reconnect in-person with clients, colleagues, and peers, making up for lost time.
In the exhibit hall, Lowers Risk Group hosted a booth with 11 team members showcasing new insurtech products (Risk Concierge, Periculus, Stratis), new business concepts (Lowers Drone Solutions, Adjusteck), and how our ecosystem of services work together. We believe organizations in high-risk, highly-regulated environments can benefit from this bespoke shared-service model, especially with a single point of contact, and our investments in aggregated resources, technology platforms, and data distribution were well-received.
